Week 3 Home Communication

Kia ora, 
Welcome to Week 3.  Thank you for supporting Nick while I have been absent due to a family bereavement. I look forward to being back at school on Tuesday.

SEXUALITY ROAD EDUCATION
In Week 3, our Sexuality programme will begin.  This is part of our curriculum that gets taught each year.  The first week involves setting the scene, expectations and guidelines with the children and introductory lessons.  Chris will be taking the Year 5s and Nick will take the Year 6s.  If you have any questions about this programme, please see the appropriate teacher.

PET SHOW DATES
Ag Club Garden Projects are due Monday 25th November.
Our Pet Show and Farmers Market are this coming Friday.  Please refer to any notices that you have been sent home for information.

PATHWAYS
The last day for handing in Pathways is 13th of November.  Children need to complete at least one from each category, and attain the stars that they require for the certificate (blue/white, red/black) or medal (black/white).

Week 2 Home Communication

Kia ora, 
Welcome to Week 2.  We are settled and back into the midst of learning.  Please make sure that your child is taking their uniform school hat to school daily.

ATHLETICS
Athletics is on Tuesday, 22nd of October.  Postponement is Wednesday, 23rd of October. Please make sure that your child has sufficient lunch and water (they do get hungry being outdoors), and have appropriate athletic clothes (tee-shirt/shorts) and sneakers.  Sunscreen is most important as are our school uniform hats.

PET SHOW DATES
Ag Club Pet Projects due Friday 25 October
Grow Projects and Photography due Friday 25 October, please bring these to Paula and Molly in Tūhura
Ag Club Garden Projects are not due until Monday 25 November

Term 4 Week 1 Home Communication

Welcome to Term 4 and Week 1.  We hope you have had a lovely break from the school routine, and geared up for the next 9 weeks.  We welcome Georgja to our team.

NOTICES
Hopefully you have received all of the notices and emails that have been coming out at the end of last term about athletics and pet show/farmers market.  They have a lot of important information.

PATHWAYS
You should have received a slip of paper home recently, indicating what categories your child have completed in their pathways. They need to complete at least one from each category, and attain the stars that they require for the certificate (blue/white, red/black) or medal (black/white).
