Welcome to Week 1 of Term 2.  We hope you had a lovely break from the school routine and ready for a wonderful term of learning.

SEESAW
Over the holidays, you should have received three rubrics on Seesaw (Writing, Reading and Mathematics).  We will be working with these during Term 2, and any Seesaw posts coming home about these three curriculum areas will refer to these rubrics.

DEAR
This term, we are planning to have DEAR (drop everything and read) most days.  We would appreciate if your child has a chapter book to read, in their school bag (hopefully one that they are reading at home as well).

INQUIRY
Last term, we looked into the meanings of ecosystems and biodiversity, and how they related to us and Silverstream Reserve. This term's Inquiry focus will come out in the next few weeks. Welcome to Week 11 of Term 1, our last week of the term.  Thank you for all of your support throughout these last 10 weeks.  We farewell Emma our student teacher at the end of this week, and we wish her well in her last year at University.

PATHWAYS
There is only one week left of our term.  Children are expected to have done at least 2 pathways by the end of this term.   Please keep having discussions with your child about what pathways they are doing.

INQUIRY
